I managed to get a coupla pics of this guy the other day through the window--if I open the door he flies away. We saw three at once the other day. They are amazingly large woodpeckers. We get several different kinds of woodpeckers at the suet feeder in the winter.

That's awesome! I have seen a pilated woodpecker once, and it was large.
