Well--here is my first finished object for 2009. A pair of 56 stitch 56 row socks from Chicknits. They are done in Dream In Color Smooshy--color--Go Go Grassy. Done on size #1 needles the magic loop way. My very first pair of socks done using the magic loop method. I cannot believe I have been using dpn needles for over 2 years now. I will not go back to dpn needles. The magic loop method is so much faster and so very easy and simple. Happy Knitting.

Looks great! I am determined to learn how to knit socks THIS year. I think I'll start out with the DPN method, and then try magic loop afterward.
I LOVE THE MAGIC LOOP METHOD!!! No more double pointed needles for me!
