Aren't They Sweet?

And there they are--the 2 biggest loves of my life. And then of course there is knitting, and my mom, and my kids, and my grandkids and the list goes on. I have so much in my life to be grateful for and my life is so full. Hope you are all well. Happy knitting :)

Dogs On Thursday

The black and white puppy was our Smokey who passed on July 5, 2005. He was part Jack Russell. We really miss him. But he loved corn on the cob.

The brown and white puppy is our Jill, we call her our Jill Russell. She is 2 years old and we got her in March. And guess what she likes--you got it--corn on the cob!!

Don't know if dogs on Thursday is a group you belong to or just what some people post. You can let me know Natalie.
Just thought you all might enjoy this post. Have a great day!!

Finally

Finally the promised pic of Joe Joe. And of course another pic of Jill--aren't they both adorable. Joe Joe is eating some solid food and we found out that day he didn't like carrots! I wish I could have gotten a pic of the face when he first tasted them--but the look was over so quickly. Jill is slowly adjusting--even doing some peeing and pooping outside. She does not like to be left alone, which is understandable after being with another dog all her life--but she certainly is enjoying all the one on one attention she gets here! There is some knitting going on here. Right now I am working on the feather and fan stole for my grandaughter Ashly's prom night. I have been finally inventorying a tiny little bit of my stash and entering it into ravelry's data base. That for me is a long slow process and will probably take 6 months or so. Well happy knitting to all.

Jill Is Here

I would like to introduce Jill. On July 5, 2005, we had to have our precious Smokey put to sleep due to old age and illness. We said we would not get another dog. After 2 years and almost 9 months this precious little dog was offered to us. If you read my blog--you will know little Joey. This one of 2 Jack Russell Terriers owned by Little Joey's mom. Jill is 2 years old and was very jealous of the baby, to the point that where ever the baby laid--Jill peed. My daughter asked us about 3 weeks ago if we would take her. After much thought we decided to do so. I think she will bring much joy into our lives, just as Smokey did. So far she is doing well. Please pray for a good adjustment as she has always had 6 year old Jackie as a companion. She has only been here since 4:15 this afternoon. She is a joy. Will post pics soon of little Joey--who by the way I found out Andi does not want him called Joey--so in the future I will refer to him as Joe Joe. After all it is not my baby. Also will post some pics of the big sister's prom dress--gorgeous, just gorgeous. She will be 17 next month. How time does fly. Well, happy knitting.
